VT Cosmetics Azelaic A1 Calming Ampoule – 30ml | Serum for Acne, Redness & Uneven Texture

99% High Purity Azelaic Acid + Cica Exosome Technology | Clears Blemishes, Fades Post-Acne Marks & Soothes Sensitive Skin | Free from Parabens, Silicones & Sulphates | All Skin Types

What It Is

Do you have acne-prone skin, or recurring skin concerns such as uneven and bumpy skin texture, skin redness, or post-acne marks? The VT Cosmetics Azelaic A1 Calming Ampoule is formulated as an optimised daily care formula for exactly these concerns.

It is designed with VT's unique stabilisation technology — 20 VT Azelaic Acid™ — formulated to deliver the full benefits of 99% high purity Azelaic Acid for acne care. Azelaic Acid helps control excess oil and sebum production to calm redness and refine skin texture for a clearer complexion.

What makes this ampoule stand apart from standard Azelaic Acid products is the delivery system behind it: VT's exclusive Cica Exosome Solution uses the VED method (VT Exosome Delivery), where soothing ingredients extracted from Centella Asiatica are encapsulated into nano-sized exosomes to provide seamless, deep soothing care — intensively calming sensitive skin while enhancing absorption and efficacy of the active ingredients.

Key Benefits

  • Clears blemishes & unclogs pores — Azelaic Acid at 3.6–5.4% concentration helps treat acne, reduce clogged pores, and has a mild exfoliating effect that smooths skin texture over time.
  • Fades post-acne marks & hyperpigmentation — Azelaic Acid significantly improves the appearance of skin blemishes, helps fade post-acne marks and other discolourations, and refines skin texture.
  • Controls sebum & reduces redness — Azelaic Acid controls excess oil and sebum production to calm redness and refine skin texture for clear skin.
  • Deep soothing with Cica Exosome — Centella Asiatica actives delivered via nano-sized exosomes provide deep, seamless soothing care for sensitive and reactive skin.
  • Multi-layer hydration — A complex of humectants including Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, and Panthenol attract water to the upper layers of the skin and improve overall hydration.
  • Antioxidant protection — Tocopherol (Vitamin E) protects the skin and soothes irritation from environmental stressors.
  • Fermented soothing actives — Lactobacillus/Soymilk Ferment Filtrate alongside Tea Tree Leaf Extract and Houttuynia Cordata provide additional calming and antibacterial support.
  • No photosensitivity — unlike AHAs, Azelaic Acid will not make skin sun-sensitive, making it safe for both morning and evening use.

About Azelaic Acid

Azelaic Acid is a skin-friendly dicarboxylic acid that can be derived from grains like barley, wheat, and rye. It has unique properties and is one of the more highly sought-after ingredients as it significantly improves the appearance of skin blemishes, helps fade post-acne marks and other discolourations, refines skin texture, and even reduces skin sensitivity.

It is especially useful for acne-prone or rosacea-prone skin types, and can be freely purchased in the EU in concentrations of up to 10%.

How to Use

After cleansing, prep the skin with a toner. Dispense 1–2 drops onto hands or directly onto the face. Spread evenly and gently pat to aid absorption. Use a generous amount of moisturiser afterwards, and always apply sunscreen during the day.

Note: Due to the high concentration of raw Azelaic Acid powder, you may notice white powder around the opening of the ampoule. This is not a defect — the product is completely safe to use.

Why Seoulma Skincare Recommends It

Azelaic Acid has quietly become one of the most important actives in modern skincare — and VT Cosmetics has built one of the most thoughtfully formulated versions on the market. Here's why this ampoule earns its place in Seoulma's edit.

Most Azelaic Acid products face the same challenge: the raw ingredient is notoriously difficult to stabilise and even harder to absorb at meaningful concentrations. VT solves both problems simultaneously. Their 20 VT Azelaic Acid™ stabilisation technology preserves the ingredient's potency in the bottle, while the Cica Exosome delivery system — nano-encapsulated Centella Asiatica actives — drives the ingredient deeper into skin than a standard ampoule formula would allow.

The result is an Azelaic Acid product that actually performs at the concentration it claims, without the gritty texture or white cast that put many people off this ingredient in the past.

What also stands out is how it handles the sensitivity side of the equation. Many acids — even well-tolerated ones like Azelaic Acid — can tip reactive skin into irritation when used in isolation. By pairing the active with a dense soothing complex (Centella, Madecassoside, Panthenol, Tea Tree, Houttuynia Cordata, and five forms of Hyaluronic Acid), VT has created a formula that calms as it corrects.

For anyone dealing with acne marks, uneven texture, redness, or congestion — and who wants results without photosensitivity or a difficult adjustment period — this is the ampoule to reach for.
